at Railyard fitness we start your fitness with science

Benefits of a 3D Body Scan Include:

  • Accurate measurements - The scanner provides precise measurements of body fat percentage, lean muscle mass, and other body parts. This accuracy is important for tracking progress over time.

  • Visual representation - The scanner generates a 3D model of your body that you can view from different angles. This helps you understand your body shape and composition.

  • Fitness goal setting - The scanner can help you set realistic weight loss goals by providing an accurate picture of your body composition.

  • Health risk analysis - The scanner provides a detailed health risk analysis based on the data it collects.

  • Bone density and mass estimates - The scanner provides an estimate of bone density and mass.

  • Calorie expenditure and intake calculations - The scanner can calculate your daily caloric expenditure and maximum caloric intake.

  • Tracking body changes - The scanner can help you track changes in your body over time.

A 3D Body Scan takes a comprehensive set of body measurements that only takes 60 seconds to complete. The measurements are similar to a DEXA body scan and includes body composition (% muscle, fat, bone) and a wellness score based on the relationship of your body SHAPE to cardiovascular related risk factors. The report is a baseline and tool to help you with your fitness goals. As a member of Railyard Fitness the 3D Body Scan is included in your gym benefits. I love this gym. I have been with my personal trainer, Douglass Lawder, for two years and I have never felt better in my life.

When we were deciding what equipment to use at Railyard Fitness, we started with a question. What goals do our clients have and what exercises will produce the greatest results? In everyday movement we rarely isolate just one muscle, (like a seated exercise), our whole body is engaged when picking up that grocery bag or pushing the grandchild on the swing. That is why when you first visit Railyard Fitness you won’t see a typical gym with rows and rows of equipment packed in like sardines with tons of seated equipment. Railyard Fitness is full of resistance bands, balance balls, free weights, TRX bands, boxing bags, and the list goes on. Of course we have cardio equipment, (we carry Matrix) and the essential seated machines, but ultimately our equipment comes in small sizes, think resistance training and equipment focused on functional movement.

Our equipment is commercial quality and well maintained.
